To be honest, I was a little hesitant about ordering from what seemed like a non-official Creality site, but it all worked out and they are legit. Shipping to Canada was not a problem —actually arrived pretty fast, and the communication was pretty good.
Overall, I’m really happy with the Creality Falcon 10W. It was easy to set up and get going, and everything has been working smoothly from the start. I’m using it with a MacBook, and Lightburn connected without any issues—it just worked, which was a nice surprise.
The laser handles both cutting and engraving really well. It does take some experimenting to figure out the best settings for different materials, but that’s expected. I’ve found that dollar store materials like basswood are great for testing and trying things out without spending a lot.
It cuts through 6mm basswood and birch plywood pretty well. The birch might need a second pass depending on the piece, but that’s reasonable for a 10W laser.
As everyone says in their YouTube reviews setup good ventilation and a stable table or base before you start your first project, it make all the difference.
Definitely a solid purchase if you're looking to get into laser work.
